Biography Highlight

Chang Wanquan, male, Han nationality, is a native of Nanyang City of Henan Province. He was born in 1949, joined the PLA in March 1968 and joined the CPC in same year later. Chang was a student of Long-Distance Education Program of Weinan Specialized Teachers School of Shaanxi Province and graduated in 1987. He was promoted to Major General in July 1997, Lieutenant General in 2003 and General in 2007. He was a member of the 16th CPC Central Committee.
